Meet Lauren Fry, our Community Outreach and Digital Marketing Coordinator, Chapel teacher, and Music Program Director. Mrs. Fry has a degree and work experience in Public Relations, Marketing as well as Print and Web Design. She worked at a small Marketing and Design Agency in Houston after graduating from college in 2008 until her oldest daughter was born in 2013.

From Mrs. Fry…

I have a deep passion for Shady Oak Primary— its core values, the administration, teachers and students. I have first hand experience of its unmatched qualities. My own children have attended Shady Oak schools since 2018 when my oldest began Kindergarten. I will sing this program’s praises to anyone who will listen. Mix my passion for this school and my experience in marketing and you have the perfect job for me! I have also served Shady Oak Primary in several different capacities from “room mom” to 3 terms as PTA President.

Originally from Lubbock, Texas, I am an avid Texas Tech University fan and met my husband, Aaron, of 16 years there. We have 3 kids, 2 girls and 1 boy. They are 3 very different, beautiful, confident, capable and equipped Shady Oak-raised kids! Rounding out our Fry Crew, is a Miniature Goldendoodle named Archie! When not at church, my kids’ schools or shuffling the kids to swim team or soccer practice, you can find me on date nights, shopping in any of the fabulous downtown local Richmond shops, meeting friends for coffee, running, reading or journaling! I am excited for my 2nd year on staff at Shady Oak Primary!
