From Mrs. Nguyen…

I am excited to continue supporting the students and staff at Shady Oak Primary for the 3rd year in a row through private tutoring. I love seeing how the warm, welcoming atmosphere at Shady Oak Primary promotes a learning environment that focuses on growing the whole child.

Originally from Austin, Texas, I have been living in Richmond for the past 19 years with her wonderful husband and 2 beautiful daughters. We love to spend time together playing tennis, watching shows, and trying new foods.

My passion for the last 10 years is teaching children to read. I love to read and love to share that joy with everyone too! I know how hard it can be when kids are struggling to learn and love to share my bag of tricks to make the journey easier for them. My goal is to be the bridge for students to help them achieve their own reading goals.
