Working ‘ON’ Not ‘IN’ Your Life!
For those of you who have been fortunate enough to work with a business coach know that the mantra of coaches today is ‘To be successful you need to stop working in your business and start working on your business’. Well I think the same advice is applicable to our lives. How many of us are just going through the motions each day? How many of us are taking time to plan, discover, and reflect? How many of us are squashing our creativity because we think we are too busy to paint, sculpt, or draw? How many of us are compromising our health because fast food seems like the only answer to our hunger in our fast paced day?
What if you could carve out thirty to forty five minutes each day just for YOU? Take a minute to add up the benefits of this decision. With this time you can focus on what is important to you and if you are like most people, you may not be sure anymore. The time to determine your mission is now. Living with a sense of purpose reduces stress and increases success. With a clear direction you are driven to an identifiable end result. So, you can’t get off course because the course is so incredibly clear. You may get diverted from time to time but like a pilot who is temporarily blown off course you can correct and get back on your way.
Once you have identified your definiteness of purpose, to use Napoleon Hill’s term, you will be amazed at the endless opportunities that will appear to help facilitate the mission. Being aware of what you want allows you to spot the specific things you need to execute. It is actually quite incredible how what you need appears! Take a look at your daily schedule and block some ‘you’ time, right now. You deserve the benefits and the people around you deserve to be in the company of the best you, you can be!
